Through Strategically Advancing Love and Truth (S.A.L.T.) resources, you can lead others in consistent, meaningful engagement without having to be an expert. We’ve created the resources below for you to help Christians and any other friends in your community to understand the importance of civic engagement as part of moving Love and Truth forward.

Engaging Christians

We connect believers to build connection and community around Biblical Truth and Civic Engagement. Together, we inform, engage, and empower people of faith to protect, heal, and serve their neighbors.

We do this through our SALT groups. SALT (Stragically Advancing Love and Truth) is a monthly study that builds faithful gatherings of Biblically and Civically engaged Christians through their churches, Bible studies, and small groups. These study/discussion groups can easily be incorporated into your current Bible studies, or they can stand separately—whether in homes or at your church! SALT empowers both men and women to lead small groups that cultivate connection, foster community, and inspire civic engagement through Biblical truth. Any Christian can lead a SALT group, and we make it simple and manageable by ensuring leaders need minimal preparation time.

If you currently lead a Bible study or actively participate in a Christian study group, the SALT content can seamlessly integrate into your existing curriculum. We provide everything you need to lead these monthly meetings effectively and confidently.

Why the Church is Important

Churches play a vital role in civic engagement because faith communities are uniquely positioned to cultivate values like stewardship, justice, and the common good—principles that underpin a healthy democracy. Among self-identified Christians who attend church regularly, an estimated 32 million may choose not to cast a ballot in a given election cycle.

By encouraging voter registration, facilitating access to information, and framing civic participation as an expression of faith, churches can help translate moral conviction into action. Moreover, when congregations engage in public life—through voter education, community partnerships, or non-partisan advocacy—they reinforce the idea that citizens are not merely spectators but co-creators of their society. In short, churches can energize under-represented voices, yield higher voter turnout, and deepen the civic impact of faith.

Statement of Faith

America's Women is led by a group of Christian women from various denominational backgrounds. Our personal convictions are grounded in our faith in the love of Christ and His truth as expressed in the Bible. We’re authentic about these beliefs in our messaging, and these convictions guide our work.

But America's Women is welcoming to anyone of any faith, or no faith. We aim to unite all who care about the blessings of freedom and the American dream. We believe these blessings have their origins in the God of the Bible, but those blessings are meant for ALL Americans to enjoy.

Whatever your beliefs, you will find with America's Women: positive, life-affirming, family-supporting, strategic work we can all do together!

It is commanded of us and God’s word tells us to throughout the Bible: ‘You are the salt of the earth’ (Matt 5:13), ‘Through the blessing of the upright, a city is exalted’ (Prov 11:11), ‘For lack of guidance, a nation falls’ (Prov 11:14).
