We’re bombarded with messages—on the news, in entertainment, through social media—and there seems to be a common thread: we women must get angry or outraged. We must follow a particular line of thinking—or else ‘we’re on the wrong side’

I was recently asked to go speak to some influential women in Washington, DC. They wanted to know how Arizona Women of Action grew to almost 40,000 busy but engaged women who care about families, faith and freedom, and who consistently take time to make a difference! … They want to build such a movement in other states. 

This article will blow your mind. I’m a grandmother of six and mother of five, and as Founder of Arizona Women of Action, I learn a LOT about threats to our families and children. But I never realized the extent that schools are data mining and the way they manipulate our kids’ thinking—all through those ‘convenient’ digital tools most schools offer. 

Revival. Renewal. Resurgence. The Golden Age.… These are the words describing what’s happening in the United States of America. People are awakening. They’re remembering the “Permanent Things”. They’re longing for common sense. Basic Goodness. Faith, Family, ‘Groundedness’, and the Liberty to protect and keep them. 

This week many of our readers (including our team) are celebrating Holy Week, the most important events of history. Without the death and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth, there’d be no Christianity--or the hope and life that it brings. Also, many of our Jewish readers celebrate the Passover commemorating their miraculous Exodus from Egyptian slavery, as told in the Bible. Whether you celebrate these or not, you’ll be fascinated and inspired by knowing a few facts.

Look at the news lately and it’s like hundreds of Chicken Little’s yelling to everyone that our financial sky is falling.  When there’s uncertainty, there’s usually worry. Worry leads to bad decisions and unnecessary anxiety. We can say NO to worry if we take time to understand the realities, make choices to control what we can, and then take another powerful ‘action’--determine to ‘Look Up and Look Back’.

Our AZWOA Education Director, Adrienne Johnson, works tirelessly to assist and mentor school board members as well as candidates. Those who lead and guide our most precious Arizona asset—our children—are worthy of the highest scrutiny as well as support (when they take that job seriously) to serve and protect students and families in their schools! Adrienne has a message for all of us: 

Executive Orders are nice—when you like the politics of the President in power. But they can change just as easily with the next President, and even now, they don’t hold the power of law. They simply set a policy that directs the agencies what to do. They are open to lawsuits, which can take months to work out. We need Congress to pass good laws. And that’s why ALL elections, and ALL elected officials matter. 

To celebrate Presidents Day, we must understand that what made President George Washington and President Abraham Lincoln great, was not inherently their leadership, wisdom or courage. It was all of those in service to the ideals of liberty and goodness to bless an entire nation of people. Those ideals were inspired by the Bible, and they birthed the ‘brand’ of America. To celebrate Presidents Day is to celebrate America. But have we forgotten ‘our brand’--what America stands
