Consider the pivotal moments in your life. Images etched on your heart that you won’t forget… Most of them involve people, don’t they?     They’re like mile markers on the highway… or like floating buoys on life’s turbulent ocean. The ones that make you look above the busyness, the million details, and remember the WHY. The moments that re-calibrate the path and re-fuel your resolve. 

This week we celebrate what most people call “President’s Day”, but did you know the observed federal holiday is officially called “Washington’s Birthday”?

This question came to mind while at a small, round-table gathering of Arizona leaders of faith, politics and business to meet the Israeli Ambassador to the United States, Yechiel Leiter. It was an honor to be invited, and to hear his first-hand experience in Israel’s continual religious struggles. He emphasized what’s at stake, both for Israel and for America.
