Summer break is ending and the new school year is upon us, which brings bittersweet excitement for both kids and parents. We love watching our kids step into a new grade, hearts full of curiosity. We pray that their school year ahead will be filled with learning, new friendships, and wonderful memories.

On June 30th light shined, and a healthy breath of reality lifted Americans when the U.S. Supreme Court ruled —unanimously, no less—that states CAN lawfully exclude transgender athletes from women’s and girls’ sports teams. The Scoreboard in this meme should actually read, “REALITY 9 - DELUSION 0”.

Mary Ludwig Hays was born on October 13, 1754. When she was in her early twenties, she married a barber named William Hays who decided to enlist in the 4th Pennsylvania Artillery and served in the Continental Army when the American Revolutionary War began. Mary (called Molly”) Hays reportedly brought water to the troops at the Battle of Monmouth.
