John Corpstein

John Corpstein graduated from University of Arizona with a BS in General Business and a minor in Marketing from the College of Business Administration. John then worked in the real estate industry in Phoenix, Arizona, as well as his family’s business (Valley Seed Co.) in international seed sales.

In 1987 Mr. Corpstein started his first company, Valley America, packaging and distributing pet food products. He sold the company in 1994 and went on to start 3 other businesses over a 17-year period.

In 2012 John had closed and restructured business operations in order to attend Phoenix Seminary. In 2013 he became the Executive Pastor at Camelback Bible Church and in 2016 graduated with a Masters in Biblical Studies and Theology. He resigned his position at Camelback Bible in late 2016 and now works at Scottsdale Bible Church as the Stewardship Pastor managing capital campaigns, fund development and the elder fund (benevolence).

Mr. Corpstein is a 4th generation Phoenix native and lives in Paradise Valley, Arizona with his wife, Barbara of 38 years. They have 2 children, Elizabeth (35) is a practicing therapist/psychologist in LA, CA and Jeffrey (32) graduated with an international business degree and works for a family business in Ann Arbor. They have 3 grandchildren.
