All U.S. military officers and enlisted members of the eight uniformed services of the United States swear or affirm the Oath of Office when they commission. The officers’ oath is slightly different, but every member recites this part that many of us recognize (bolded below):
The Oath of Enlistment (for enlisted):"I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."
This Veterans Day, we honor ALL service members who have served, fought and sacrificed so that we could remain free.
Freedom is a prize too precious to lose. Freedom must be diligently guarded and fought for. We expect to guard against foreign enemies, but why domestic? Ironically, it is our very freedom to speak and believe that can be the siege ramp ushering in destructive philosophies that destroy American freedom. It takes vigilance and courage to spot the enemy within and to stand and “defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic”.
One such courageous fighter is Lt Col Matthew Lohmeier, former F-15 fighter pilot and Space Force Commander. He is now the Under Secretary of the U.S. Air Force. Previous to this post, Matt was the Executive Vice President of STARRS (Stand Together Against Racism and Radicalism in the Services). Its mission is to help educate all Americans regarding the criticality of having a military that focuses solely on the essential readiness needed to fight and win our Nation’s wars.
I was privileged to share the stage with Lt Col Lohmeier a few times, and I can attest to his authentic love for God, family and country, his humility and strong convictions.
Today, Veterans Day, Nov 11, 2025, is the release of the documentary based on Matt’s life and book, Irresistible Revolution: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest & the Unmaking of the American Military.
This is a must-see movie--“Call Sign Courage: The Matt Lohmeier Story” Share the link and invite some friends over to watch. Here’s the 3-minute trailer.
Thank you for your continuing service to our nation, Lt Col Lohmeier. You are reminding all of us to stand strong to defend our United States, our Constitution, and our freedom—in our own sphere of influence.
“Call Sign Courage: The Matt Lohmeier Story” chronicles the inspiring journey of Lt Col Matthew Lohmeier, an Air Force fighter pilot turned Space Force commander, whose conviction fueled his stand against the spread of Marxist ideologies in the military.
After courageously resisting the divisive political mandates being implemented on bases around the country, he was fired from his command, without pension, and made a public example of as a non-compliant officer under the Biden administration.
Undeterred, Lohmeier transformed this profound sacrifice into a powerful movement, rallying silenced troops and advocating for a return to merit-based, unified service.
Captured on film for the first time, this powerful documentary reveals inside access into the toxic ideologies he exposed, delving into his life before whistleblowing—his faith, family, and friends—while tracing his remarkable rescue mission to the nation’s capital to testify before congress.
Guided by a higher calling, his journey culminates in his miraculous confirmation as the current Under Secretary of the Air Force, now overseeing the same generals and bureaucrats who once sought to silence him.
