America’s Women believes parents—not government institutions—should have the final say over what materials their children access. Across the nation, families are waking up to the reality that many public and school libraries contain sexually explicit, obscene, or age-inappropriate books in youth sections. My friend, I know you’re with me in longing to see a powerful and positive culture shift in America. We are at a critical point in our nation’s story, where our very foundations are under attack. Our battles are spiritual before they are physical. So, the most effective weapon to defend America’s future is REAL prayer: heartfelt, informed, Spirit-led and strategic.

My friends, it’s very likely you’re in the dark about how truly horrible and destructive many, many books are in your school’s libraries and classrooms. I say that because I too was in the dark until I saw these books with my own eyes. We also see it in your stunned and saddened faces when you open up some of these shockingly inappropriate books at America’s Women events (See one of our recent posts--Content warning.)

Consider the pivotal moments in your life. Images etched on your heart that you won’t forget… Most of them involve people, don’t they? They’re like mile markers on the highway… or like floating buoys on life’s turbulent ocean. The ones that make you look above the busyness, the million details, and remember the WHY. The moments that re-calibrate the path and re-fuel your resolve.
