Why Care How Gov’t Spends Our Money? --It Sets Culture

 A few weeks ago, the White House’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB), under the leadership of Director Russ Vought, released its fiscal year 2027 budget, stating plans to “eliminat[e] funding for cultural Marxism”.

Just a few of the many cuts in the article: 

• $106 million for a project at Seattle Children’s Hospital titled “Using Telehealth to Improve Access to Gender-Affirming Care for BIPOC and Rural Gender-Diverse Youth.” 

• $1.73 billion in grants to 603 institutions in 2023 to build “a more equitable, resilient economy.” 

• $70 million in funding for the Teacher Quality Partnership Program, which OMB says was used to indoctrinate new teachers 

• $6.7 million for Los Angeles housing, including an “Equity Audit to reverse land use patterns that have roots in systemically racist policies.“ 

I highly recommend knowing these important facts you can use in conversations with friends who don’t see the urgency of voting. If they don’t vote –and vote informed-- they are literally crippling the culture of our nation, our neighborhoods, and even our families!  

Let’s spread the word: The Midterm election determines culture’s direction. This is mission-critical. This November is not just a ‘Midterm election’—it’s a Mid-DETERMINATOR of at least the next 40 years and will directly impact our kids and grandkids. 

Our families are literally on the ballot this November! We MUST VOTE.
