You + 2: Because Your Family Is on the Ballot

This November, when you look at your ballot, don’t just see a list of candidates. See your family. Their names aren’t printed there, but they are on it. 

People’s lives, what impacts almost every detail, will be determined by the choices you and I make on election day. Candidates may not interest you, but they absolutely determine which reality you’ll face in the near future--your family, your work, your schools and all your friends.

THIS election, perhaps more than any other in recent history, is deeply personal. It will literally define our identity. Who we are as families, as citizens and as a nation, and how we’re allowed to live and express ourselves.

Two opposite visions of America are on that ballot. Two realities for your family. Will we be free, or will we elect to be controlled? What landscape will we see when we look at our living rooms or communities over the next five or fifty years? Your vote plants a seed into each elected office or policy that will lead us. Which landscape sprouts up is the one you plant now with your votes--from school board to governor to federal lawmakers.

That is why YOUR vote matters. Your neighbor's vote matters. Your friend's vote matters.

Here’s how we can choose freedom. But it will take all of us.

When you make the commitment to vote and bring two others, we’ll help you stay informed about the election, keep you updated on important deadlines, provide access to voter information, and give you simple tools to vote informed and confident.

Some things are too precious to surrender through silence. Here’s what’s on the line in THIS election: 

• Female Dignity – Girls deserve opportunity and safety, as well as their own sports. Yet government and education policies have stripped these from our daughters and sisters. We can ensure good laws protect women, leading to strong families.  

• Childhood Innocence – Most people would be shocked at what’s in library books, classroom lessons and online content geared for kids today! By electing strong-valued school boards, we can keep classrooms porn-free, parents involved, and kids thriving.  

• School Choice – Parents have the authority and responsibility to protect their children. Not the government. Every child deserves the education that fits them best, and parents should invest their tax dollars in the most productive educational choice for them. We must mobilize to ensure this happens.

All these issues--and ultimately your family-- are on your ballot, and it’s on you and me—and our +2 Friends-- to protect them.
