Dr. Stephen Meyer’s new film, The Story of Everything, is a documentary from the Discovery Institute’s Center for Science and Culture. Overwhelming scientific discoveries have exposed the incoherence of atheism’s worldview of randomness and chance, and make a compelling scientific case for a Designer, proving God is not the enemy of science. Rather, He is the conclusion.
If there is no Creator God, there is no explanation for evil or pain or loneliness, Then it follows there’d be no explanation for hope, love and self-giving. In the end, if God doesn’t exist, there is no meaning or purpose to our lives. Atheism’s worldview fuels the reason there’s so much hopelessness, chaos, violence and addiction among people—especially our next generations.
If there is actual scientific evidence that supports an intelligent, intentional Creator—this builds a rational bridge that dispels the myth of ‘No God/No Purpose’. Therefore, it’s critical to get this knowledge in front of the next generation.
The Story of Everything has the potential to be a genuine catalyst, sparking a Great Awakening in a younger generation at a moment when the debate over the origin of life and Darwinian evolution is louder than it’s been in years. And the answer to that question is often the difference between despair and hope.
This film launches for a limited 7-night theatrical run April 30 – May 6. Strong pre-sales signal theaters to extend the run, multiplying the reach. YOUR Part: Get to the theater with some friends, and ALSO get tickets into the hands of high school and college students at no cost to them. Trusted ministries and organizations (like churches, America’s Women, Young Life, Christian high schools, colleges and others) can buy pre-sale tickets for students. Summer break is starting, and what better time to inspire young people with truth that leads to hope!
What YOU can do:
Share this blog and gather friends to go see the movie!
Ask your church or other ministry to gather donations for tickets or host a movie night.
Donate to America’s Women Students Equipped initiative in multiples of $15 per ticket, and we will distribute movie passes among high school and college students in Arizona communities.
Let us know if you are a student interested in seeing the film.
America’s Women has a goal to give away 1000 tickets to students before May 6. Donate here if you can help us! All proceeds help us inform and connect the next generation with Love and Truth!
